If there’s anything I’ve learned about Paul Walker in the past year is that he’s suddenly become everyone’s favorite actor – only after his death. But for what?
This morning, I paid a little visit to an oral surgeon to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth ripped out. As I made myself comfortable in his operating chair, the doc attached an IV to my arm, asking if I’ve ever been put to sleep before. I answered with an honest “no,” to which he routinely laughed and responded: “See you later.”
The Age of Ultron is finally upon us, and it’s beautiful.
When they said “teaser,” they really meant it. Although the recently leaked teaser trailer for “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” leaves fans with plenty to feed the imagination, it leaves little-to-no context. What does it all mean? Have no fear. I’ve gone through the Marvel archives and sorted through everything Avengers so you don’t have to! Get the low-down on Ultron, predictions, and more to satisfy your geek needs.
“Noah” is arguably one of the most anticipated Biblically-based films since The Passion of the Christ. But just how close will “Noah” stay true to the Biblical story found in Genesis? Let it be known that my brother and I unanimously agree that Spider-Man is our favorite childhood superhero. When the trailer for the second installment was released, we immediately began breaking down the details – after the initial geek-out, of course – and found some incredibly awesome stuff. The trailer might be telling us more than you think!
Gal Gadot of the Fast and Furious franchise has been casted to play Wonder Woman in the upcoming Superman vs. Batman film – and there is currently a wave of criticisms from DC Comic fanatics closing in from every direction. And a lot of them are negative. However, although I personally believe Zach Snyder has committed a crime in poor casting, I do believe Gadot has a shot at delivering an excellent portrayal of Wonder Woman.
Spoiler alert! We are all human. And as humans, we have a long history of judging others by their appearance. I believe the consensus is that we aren’t to judge a book by its cover, but the truth is that it’s so part of our nature. Think about it: whether you believe it or not, you made a judgment on my page. Hopefully a good one because you’re still reading this post. Point of the matter is: there is just no way to avoid the inevitable judgment of others.
